As long the call operator can verify you as one of our members, quoting your membership number you will have access to all our services offered. - Will my Africa Talking SIM card be working in my mobile phone?
You mobile phone will need to be network unblocked for the Africa Talking SIM card to work. - Why do I need to make use of the Africa Talking SIM card?
In order for us to be able to track your physical location(for travel directions, find your friend or in an emergency) using our mobile phone, you will have to have your phone switched on with the Africa Talking SIM card loaded into your phone’s SIM Card Reader. You can also be saving up to 80% of your roaming charges by using your Africa Talking SIM card for all your local and international calls and text. - Can I make use the Africa Talking Travel Assistant services outside of South Africa in other African countries?
Your Africa Talking membership will only be available for services provided inside the borders of South Africa. If you are travelling to any other African countries and would still like to have travel assistance, please email wearelistening@africatalking.co.uk for further information. - I am traveling in a group and would like to receive group membership discounts. How much can I save?
Groups of three people and more will receive a 10% discount on membership fees, please email wearelistening@africatalking.co.uk for further information. - How long will my Africa Talking membership be active for?
You will have access to all our services offered for a maximum period of 30 days. Your membership can be extended for an extra fee at 50% of the signup cost for an extra 30 days.
